yea, i wanted to say kole. brutus is comparatively easy. i was once in the dungeon map with two kole and + boss dmg + vul curse. it was that time i had to think of sth like using IC and viper strike.
the fact that in this game there are so many skills to use and combine is actually the key of playing this game i think. a tanky character can still use conversion trap and summon minions to take the heat off for some time. if you have no preference for style (e.g. a dual wield sword witch) then there is typically no unbeatable mobs theortically. my frd who was a hardcore d2 fans jumped into this game starting a shadow build, aiming to be an ass kicking one hit kill assassin type of char, smashing mobs with ease with his crit dmg, but was frustrated when mobs in cruel starts to pound some real dmg. he gave his skill tree a revision, rearranged his skills n supports, now he's an ass kicking lightning strike flicker strike shadow that throws traps. may not be as "cool" as it used to be, but definitely more forgiving to play. similarly, a tank can still use decoy totem or minions or conversion traps to help take away some heat for a while. just think of what skills you can use that will work with ur set up to counter some situations, and have them leveled in ur spare weapon set.
i didnt read thru ur build but i would share what i know. if u're playing LS, it scales off physical dmg so the bandit quest to gain the 12% phy dmg and the belt that adds phy dmg is almost a must. auras like hatred also adds cold dmg that scales off the phy dmg, which is a great boost. LMP is good enough if you have a good quality LS that adds piercing, power charge on crit to help shock-stacking, and life/mana leech for survival.
i have a LA ranger, phy dual wield duelist, and a power siphon witch (witch still struggling in the skill tree). will probably try a discharge templar (i always like weird shyts ) |
