Mainstream market is nothing. Server/HPC market is the real money maker. As long as Interlagos is not delayed, AMD will still have money to live on.

Everything is comparative. Haswell is scary NOT because it is fast compare to AMD, but it is fast even when comparing to Best of the Breed from Intel.  

They would have a hard time to complete. And now we are talking about delay after delay.

So it is scary even if AMD deliver on schedule, and now it is even more .

We can tell that bulldozer is quite focus on Server HPC market. Intel are approaching 30% of profits from this market. And we are talking about 10 times less Chip shipped then Mainstream Market.

The question is whether you focus your economy of scale from Mainstream and leverage that advantage for your Server market or vice versa.
