Why sound so surprising? The first P4 was slower than P3 too.

Is like VLIW5, when software does not support it well, it sucks. Same case here.

好似都無物product可以好似以前錦好成功,
CPU同intel的差距越來越大

i do feel sorry for AMD supporters and shareholders. the K8 was so mighty back then but intel got back into the game through the leverage of its cash and great developers.

i dont think AMD is out of the game, at least for the time being. hopefully the marketing department has great plans to market the new chips at justifiable prices. value for money is the key.

the moment im typing this, im still using x2 4800+
