香港都無錄影機賣了，但為何magic tv仲有市場？

好多人買magic tv好可能只當作錄影機來用。
但係真正的錄影機都消失左好耐啦。
而家my tv super又有得重溫，
上網都有資源睇得翻，真係仲需耍錄影？

MTV錄完，只需要撳幾吓就睇到，方便過網上重溫，而且對我呢類仲用緊冇內置解碼器或非智能電視嘅人，要係電視上睇網上重溫仲麻煩過MTV錄影。

This is the type of lame, crooked mentality that modern people have been clinging to, one which many "older standard" people would profusely object to
Unfortunately, more and more of these people pop up every day in this modern world, thinking minimalism is the ultimate goal to quality of life

Worst of the worst, these people only know how to rely on connected resources ie. resources available on a network or whatsoever

But to a lot of old folks, timeshifting still has a LOT of advantages and conveniences
And yes for the record, I use MTV a LOT to timeshift stuff...
Even pals around me claim that a truly recorded MTV program is much much better than those manually recorded (or captured) online

One caveat though: with MTV you need to make sure the transmission is all clean
If the transmission is not clean then drop frames would occur in the recorded program, and when that happens, you cannot even recover such errors under NLE (or even just frame-by-frame cutting)

It's worse
Most online resources are protected and that only manual capturing is possible
This takes away a LOT of quality to the audio and video

I've seen ppl doing that out of no choice; I do feel sorry for them becuz they deserve better quality material (esp. for archiving)
