Status of Magic TV with > 4TB HDD
Regarding the question of whether Magic TV supports > 4TB HDD, previously I said that the maximum HDD size supported would be 4TB per drive. However, I've just done a code review and have not actually found anything that should become erratic over 4TB, so my saying of the 4TB limit could be too conservative.

- Magic TV will not create a larger-than-4TB partition if you use Magic TV to format a HDD.
- NTFS and GPT are supported

- If you use USB HDD in NTFS format, Magic TV cannot share its contents as Network HDD server. "Check and Repair USB HDD" also cannot be used.
- Customer service department does not suggest the use of >2TB HDD and may not be able to help if you use something larger in case a problem arises. |
