我呢個post都無話要打機?只係話routing table好似有問題

    打機同上網都係用同一個network,但係無理由去cuhk/ust都route左去台灣先返來香港呀
最正常都係經HKIX去返本地server/data center,無理由去邊度都route出香港,再由外國返來本地server?
仲有,hkix個bandwidth同response點都快過去海,QoS點計都係route返HKIX,再者, HGC都有100GE 去HKIX,唔明點解條network eng 要route去台灣先返港

    What if HGC don't have enough bandwidth to route all local traffic through HKIX?

If your focus is not "打機", then I would say there should be nothing wrong for HGC to route the traffic from/to UST and CUHK websites through a longer route as this won't affect your experience much.

Please don't forget that you are just a household subscriber paying less than HK$200 per month. If you have a static route or ping requirement, talk to your ISP but you may need to pay over 100 times more for this arrangement.

正如樓上所說，普通家用寬頻唔會同你睇routing，理得你兜左地球一個圈，總之去到就係正常，local traffic 出左海再返黎唔係乜新鮮事，有可能係本身isp問題亦有可能係對家問題。

要睇routing同幫你執route，你可以apply DIA，但月費你預係100倍或以上。

我發覺近來屋企的HGC上AlipayHK係不通的，經4G或公司network都冇問題。
有冇其他人也一樣?

又係有HKIX唔行要行Transit，淨行SSH駁本地server都可以斷

Transit 貴過 HKIX Peer ？  莫非要交數好交代？
咁樣塞飽 Transit 就唔會被啲專睇數字嘅監督話無善用資源 ？
