if your KDE language is set to "English", then the chinese in title bars may not display correctly, put this in /etc/profile:
1. Traditional Chinese
export LC_CTYPE=zh_TW
2. Simplified Chinese
export LC_CTYPE=zh_CN

The hinting should be "Slight", also need to type:
/etc/init.d/xfs restart
to restart the font server.

the tilde is the shortcut equal to your home directory.
use TAB for file completion
up and down arrow for history command
