One more thing about AX73, the 5GHz (AC & AX) penetrating power (Concrete & Brick Walls) is not bad at all.

I've been using R7000 for more than 3 years.  If we like 3rd party firmware, Xwrt-Vortex (a third party alternative firmware based on Asuswrt-Merlin project) is the ONE.  However, stock firmware is still the best as far as stability is concerned.

Regarding the WiFi signal strength and stability, AX73 is much better than R7000!  Don't "look down" this cheap router .  The only thing I regret is ... "買貴左", coz I've bought it on day one (almost).

因為我部R7000最近成日自動reboot, 加上尾房收麻麻, 考慮緊換AX73定DECO M5
如果AX73訊號仲強過R7000, 咁買一部就搞定都唔錯

When I was buying the AX73, the sales person told me that the WiFi signal is not as strong as Asus, we may not be able to getting the connection when the door is closed.  And the real case is, I've no connection problem when doors are being closed as well as separated by "主力牆".  

People always "pushing" customer to buy Asus (expensive models, especially), and saying the cheap TP-LINK is so so weak ... coz they got much better profit margin !?

ps. No experience with DECO M5.  It seems the reputation is quite okay.
