   Actually, 1Gbps (=125MBps) is too slow for any single modern HDD which can easily pull > 180MBps of data.

10G fiber equipment has performance, cost and reliability advantages over 2.5G counterparts.

    yes, unmanaged. have no need for the switch to be managed in my use case.
for managed model may consider QSW-M2108-2C / 2S~
