Do not agree.
There are only very few markets in the world that actually have WiMax network capability, apple does not usually implement the latest technology in their device, instead using the current/ developed technology to create a better product. What apple selling is not purely technology, but idea and concepts.

One of the reason Apple chose Hong Kong as one of the "earlier" (3rd Wave) launch market is that once it's on sell in Hong Kong, it's very likely parallel importer will sneak them into mainland china and possibility Taiwan. This is due to the fact that chian has a different Wifi standard  than anywhere else on the planet, while Hong Kong is one of the most convenient place to introduce new products.
