I use ClipWrap to convert .ts file to .mov file and then use iMove for editing. The .ts files were from Panasonic camcorder. I can't sure whether it's also workable for you.

For conversion, I use Bigasoft Total Video convertor.
Editing can use Adobe Premiere.
