    Sure, the product life cycle is getting shorter and shorter for LCD TV
As short as 9months they will announce a new model.

I am expecting 4k TV will be more affordable within 2years(Chinese branded 4k TV is so affordable that it is even cheaper then a prime brand FHD TV)
