Oops, I've mentioned at epc for a couple of times.  Anyway, the bad experience was:

I had an orico 2-bay hdd enclosure years ago.
1. power adaptor 爆炸 on day 1.  Immediately returned to the retail shop and exchanged for another adaptor.
2. fan was failed twice (repaired and failed again)
3. unstable connection (via USB 3.0); the hdd SMART "Ultra ATA CRC error count" showed a value of 二萬幾次 !!

Of course the orico was then ... gone to rubbish bin.  Replaced with an UNITEK 2-bay Y-3355 and it's ultra stable and problem free!  Have been running with T 3TB x 2 at RAID0 ... for years

200% agree

I've tried DAS products of century, icydock and unitek.

The 1st two are okay but way too expensive.  The last one, unitek, I've been using its products for more than 10 years without any problem.
