想玩水冷, 但唔知適唔適合?

電腦主要整黎為左平日係屋企想要一個寧靜環境下工作, 做電腦特技同CGI用. 自己又心癡起想玩水冷. 想問師兄, 唔知我以上的設備可唔可以配合一些高效能又寧靜的水冷設備? 因為見有師兄話冷排和水泵聲音會比風冷比大.  如果有, 同時希望推介一些合適水冷的主機板 :)

不超頻, 不打機. 需要長時間的rendering. 大約可支付水冷為5千大餅.

    你用 GPU 做RENDER 的話...當然要冷GPU..

    應該都係CPU 做render, 但未試過用GPU 做render. 唔知GPU render 點樣. 如果做主機板同CPU 水冷又點睇?

Just do CPU only then.    It's hard to find a full coverage block for your AMD FirePro V5900.  Universal GPU water block only covers the GPU, not the memory and VRM components.  For the motherboard,  the stock air cooling should be adequate enough for most situation.   I personally don't recommend water cooling the motherboard unless you have heat related issues and/or going for a very high CPU overclock for long periods of time.   Moreover, the motherboard blocks, especially full coverage ones, tend to be very restrictive and will reduce your flow rate greatly.

Water cooling can be very quiet if you use low fins per inch radiator designed for low speed fans.   As for pump noise, it shouldn't be an issue.
