My computer is equipped with Sandy Bridge-E (I7-3930K) and has been over-clocked to 5GHz. After using the thermal paste (Cooler Master Extreme Fusion X1), All 6 cores's temperature were reduced by 7 degree C to 10 degree C, allowing those cores go much higher frequency.

A good quality of thermal paste is important to us (overclocker), but for a normal user, which may not be a big matter.

7-10 is a big difference
I have some GC-EX (remain for 1 time use) and GC-2, considering to replace the TIM with them....

I am using 2500K @ 4.5Ghz, does a good idea to repalce the TIM?
