CWPP師兄, 小弟有啲嘢想請教你, 我剛換咗聯力PC-X900(附圖一張), 想問依家隻箱夠唔夠裝set水冷入去, 因為我見上完機之後啲空間都好似剩低唔多, 真係想聽吓你意見, Thanks!

I am using 9260-4i
The card is low profile and the original heatsink is small
Running a block on raid card could be dangerous, i think, since the PCB is small
It may not be able to handle extra pressure from hose and mounting

I need a spacer to place between PSU and the interior of the case
cos my AC power cord has a long and hard IEC
Any advice?

For 9260-4i, no worry, 8888 heatsink was even smaller;
And some north-bridge and south-bridge of old nchip motherboard is also tiny.
See picture below: I taped some cushion underneath the water block to even the pressure for small chip, this is a common method which can easily be found on stock motherboard heatsink.

Moreover, my 8888elp block was mounted with a softer spring (just a matter of sourcing and selection) and a back bracket in alum. I can say 9260-4i is infact more comfortable and spacious for watercooling instead.

I don't quite get about the problem you have with the PSU /case /long and hard IEC, can you explain a bit further, preferably with some snap shot too.

最少 DIY 開孔改動之下, 最多應可內置到 一隻厚 360 two pass 在機前, 及在機尾用一個風扇位外掛隻厚 240, 算幾好, 但的確唔係寬敞.

當用盡 360+240 厚排的條件:
- 行兩 loop 的話, 要兩 set 泵+水箱, 就算全部放得落, 連埋喉, 真係會幾擠迫.

- 行一 loop 的話, 就會簡潔好多, 360+240 厚排而風扇唔太弱(1600-1700rpm度), 都應該可以同時 handle 到 CPU + displaycard (單卡).
而拖 360+240 厚排 + CPU 冷頭 x 1 + displaycard x 1 冷頭, 我會用 D5 泵.
如對溫度 (say CPU 35-40C idle)、風扇嘈音要求唔太高的話, 水冷埋 南橋、北橋 還是勉強可以的, 但 360+240+ 4 個冷頭, 靠一隻 D5 就算有水郁都驚慢, 可能要雙 D5 推...... anyway 唔多建議咁.

相反, 如想再少 d 野, 例如只用 1 隻 360厚排的話, 就要 CPU / displaycard 二揀一, 一隻 360 厚排唔夠同時散呢兩樣野, 反而 CPU + 底板 (南+北橋), 或 displaycard (單卡) + 底板 (南+北橋) 還勉強可以.

The location of red circle, so the PSU will go down, or installed deeper into the case
you see the power cord with a big head? That's the IEC
I can not use the top cover of RV02 because of the power cord

Get a thin 360 one-pass for better flow aligement, i think
It may be able to install 2 120 at the rear
May be 2 pump sharing 1 water tank

I see, some simple standoffs can resolve your problem. SSP - Wah 輝 has it
....many length choices ranging from 6mm to 25mm.

I also use them near PSU, although it was a different problem
