My 7D also got serious AF issue, inconsistent AF. Returned to store after 2 days and waiting for 5d2 now.

you might find the 5D2's AF is even worse...

Inconsistent AF behavior. Tried several 7D, problem still persist.
Testing in sunny day, mounted on tripod and focusing on an easy to focus static object gave different focusing distance from time to time. Feeling that the new AF system is not as solid as the old one.

The test was conducted with several lens and with another 5DMkII as control experiment.

I don't see any serious bug in alpha system (from Minolta D7D - Sony A900)
Except mechanical problem such as 走焦

or you can give me some example

i cant find any bug in my dslr a350....and i cant find any firmware for update.
if you want to say a-mount have bug, you can talk about a700. search firmware ver.1, you can get some info, but which brand of  camera can guarantee there product never have bug or no need to update firmware?
