In FF term, 34mm vs 50mm, the difference is huge.   If only one walk-around lens will be used for most of the time (as I do),  34mm would be much better (okay for scene, group and even portrait).

I'm still considering the following options (as a walk-around kit lens):
- 14 2.8 (28mm FF equivalent is a bit too wide)
- 17 1.7 (34mm FF equivalent is good but its physical size is too long, not a pancake)
- 20 1.7 (40mm FF equivalent looks okay)

Yes. EM5 have some issues with Panasonic lenses especially the 20/1.7. The aperture ring of the Panasonic 15/1.7 does not works on Olympus bodies.

Aperture ring is very handy.  It's much better than using the camera button or touch screen.   

That's why stuff like the LEICA M9 (or similar) is so ... attractive

Aperture ring together with the shutter speed dial ... it becomes an effective team !

A bit more greedy, ISO and exposure compensation dials are ... very nice to have !
