Vertex 3 series使用2Xnm NAND Flash (3k-5k write cycle)，Write Cycle比3Xnm的10k write cycle少。不過事實上只要controller設計良好，及用家不需要大量地進行random write，使用2Xnm NAND Flash的SSD絕對足夠一般用家使用十年以上，所以壽命不是一個值得擔心的問題。

sequential write (random data) 120GB 應該慢大約22%，sequential read (random data)應該都是慢大約22%。

random write (random data) 120GB 應該慢大約33%。

如果是highly compressible data，兩者差異不大。

正是。不過沒有辦法，是所有SSD的特性。

除非120G轉用32Gb 2-die NAND x16，不過成本會高得多。
