If we could get the 716+II at 28xx, I think it's one of the best (or the best) 2-bay nas device(s) in the market as far as firmware/hardware/price are concerned.

I've even considered to get one during the time when it was selling at 32xx.  However, 32xx was still a bit too much for a 2-bay nas.  At the end (as mentioned), got the 216+II.
