    Yes I agree.  A lot of coatings are poor in quality.
Take a look with the video credited below:
LHD Driver's side = Exclusiv ceramic fluorite coating
Passenger side = competitor Opti-ceramic coating
Exclusiv coating after 1 year still as good as day one, they actually guarantee it to last 2-3 years depending on your choice.
