it can, this type of proximity sensor usually detect dielectric non-metal substances

個實際效果其實唔清楚
而且佢唔同電感式,佢可以感應其他介電/導電體,個環境要求可能更加嚴苛

其他可以考慮下用differential IR，　我見外國都好多人用都好準下。
