For the first time ever, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 comes equipped with an OLED display. Now slightly larger at 7.4 inches for increased immersion and visibility, this Nebula HDR Display features a fast 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro support, and 1,400 nits of peak brightness for incredible HDR performance. With a VESA® DisplayHDR™ 1000 rating, full Dolby Vision® support, and a 0.2ms response time, all content is fast, bright, and vivid. And with Corning® DXC glass and an anti-reflective coating that reduces glare by 65%, users will never have trouble locking in to their games.

OLED panels are more sensitive to heat than traditional LCD displays, so the thermal solution on the ROG XBOX Ally X20 has been redesigned to channel more airflow directly to the APU and help keep surface temperatures on the display as low as possible.

Inspired by iconic XBOX controller designs, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 features a Transforming D-Pad. In stock form, it's designed with the standard four-way movement, but it can easily be converted to eight-way control that’s ideal for fighting games. The improved face buttons have also been adjusted, now sitting flush against the chassis to enable smooth and uninterrupted thumb sliding. On the rear of the handgrips, a rubberized coating gives enhanced comfort and control during extended play sessions.

The next‑gen ROG XBOX Ally X20 also levels up control with new TMR joystick technology, delivering pinpoint precision, smoother tracking, and longer‑lasting performance for serious play on the go. Designed to eliminate drift while enhancing responsiveness, these advanced sticks translate every micro‑movement exactly as intended. With more precision than Hall effect sensors, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 puts competitive control right at the gamer's fingertips.

Combined with the incredible performance and efficiency of the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor — plus 24GB of high-speed LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe® 4.0 NVMe storage — the ROG XBOX Ally X20 is ready for a large library of modern games. With the ROG XBOX Ally X20 players can even access Auto SR preview, designed to make games look sharper and play smoother. Previously reserved for Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs, Auto SR can efficiently upscale frames rendered at lower resolutions to deliver smooth gameplay on larger screens without losing sharpness, letting users dock their gameplay to the big screen without having to compromise FPS.
