[操作疑難] Where to find HD7970 or R9 280X/285/290

Main PC still using XP with XFX HD6970, will need backup card in case of failure
How do I know if the graphic card is having problem eg. VRAM error, MB errors, etc. etc.?  What symptoms?

Also since XP's CCC driver supports up to only 200 series cards, where can I still get the said models, preferably brand new?  If only pre-owned units are available, what should I check before buying?  And what kind of budget will I be expecting?

買AMD card一係在EPC買二手, 其他地方的話買仲有保的隱陣D..
可能卡的焊接問題, 加上顯卡長期熱力煲住佢, 太多AMD顯卡二手會花畫面..  見意買有保的..
二手卡溫度越熱, 越有機會出事.

Is that an appropriate one?


That said, another of the same graphics card on another desktop has failed and has been serviced, technician said MB has died
Is that due to overheating as well?  (The Overdrive setting on that card was set to automatic AFAIK)

卡用耐了, 就有機會變焊假錫, 我相信長期高溫會加速問題發生.

一般當你發現有圖案散, boot機bios有色塊, run 3D遊戲時halt機, 都係呢類問題.

外國有人用微波爐焗張卡(假錫熔解再凝固), 短暫又復活張卡, 不過唔見議咁做, 好大機會唔得!
