When buying HDDs, I would always try to :
1. Get the latest stock (newer date of manufacture).  
2. Get a computer printout receipt with company chop

As far as I know, there are plenty of shops still providing 熱感紙收據 as official receipt.

HGST hdds and synology nas for instance, the warranty label has already "set 死左" the warranty expiry date.  What would be the consequence if those stock was not sold within reasonable period ... ??

the 3tb is really cheap. but its failure rate is not low at all
better go for those with at least 3 yrs of warranty

東芝/日立 死HDD都好D...死之前會FEEL到佢LOAD慢同有時DETECT唔到, 有部份可能會讀唔番FILE, 咁你都好準備緊急COPY FILE去其他HDD救命
死雞果D就一死就即死, HDD LOAD都LOAD唔到, 直接死亡, 無得做緊急COPY
