I had 16x DT01 3TB in a zfs pool.  7x24 kept between 25C to 45C with less than 20 power cycles.  At around 30-36 months, 7 of them started throwing SMART errors.  Replaced the whole pool with MG05s.

我覺得東X 3TB $500 幾抵玩
有幾隻一路用緊, 暫時冇問題

用過好多隻硬碟唔會突然死摩打
除非電源問題或跌落地或死雞雞瘟
或開機BIOS出SMART error
一般少量C5唔會整死hdd
樓主應個別事件
