"EDIT: SSDUpdate does not work with the Intel 10 series RST drivers

I will give the same warning as the 1.23 firmware (if you are not already on it): I highly recommend installing this update as a secondary drive, installing this update from Windows running on the target drive will result in erattic behavior. This FW makes changes that seem to "upset" Windows more than past updates. BSOD is likely and the drive may "disappear" after the reboot. To remedy this, just power off the computer, wait 5 minutes, then power back on."

CASE 1
2 Vertex II 60 Gb Drives (RAID 0) from 1.23 to 1.24:

1. Copy Update Package-files (3 total) to a blank USB Drive
2. Reboot System -> Change Raid Mode to AHCI Mode
3. Reboot System with a Vista x32 DVD (with usb drive connected)
4. Select Repair Mode
5. Go to Diskpart -> Select Disk -> Select USB Drive
6. Exit Diskpart -> Command Prompt -> Select USB Drive Letter
7. Run SSDupdater from USB Drive
8. Update FW one by one
9. Restart System, Reverse to RAID Mode in Bios

Done !

OCZ Vertex 2, Vertex LE, Agility 2 SSDs

Steps:
Unpack downloaded file(I use WinRAR for 7z)
Open the unpacked folder
Right Click ssdupdate
Run as Administrator
Your SSD should be in the drive list
At the top of the window browse to the unpacked folder again and highlight FW_1.24_Update pkg
Open
Check drive to get the firmware update
Click Download Firmware to Selected Drive


This takes a few minutes so don't panic.

I just finished updating 2 Vertex 2 SSDs with no problem

Don't worry if you get a brief blue screen when the firmware installation finishes and an error on restart.

This is normal.

Just shut the computer off for about 2 minutes and then restart.

All should be fine.

If your drive is not found it's usually because a beta version of Intel RST software is installed.

咁, 用左 firmware 1.24 個 "AS SSD Benchmark" 有冇行得快左D同高左分?  例如: 開機時間等等...
