Put it this way, as 8831 comes out on the market much later than 8g75,  there are far more 8g75 users than altobeam 8831, and thus more positive previews, or test results have been given on 8g75 than 8831.

Maybe, both chips can work perfectly for HDTV tuning. But, to play safe, buying the 8g75 could save u  trouble as u can easily get a helping hand in case u come across problems using the hdtv tuner.

Mygica官網搵到 X8557及X8558型號資料有所不同(http://www.mygica.com/dmbth.htm)，兩者都係用AltoBeam 8810 chipset，而D681及D682(USB型號) 係用 AltoBeam 8811 chipset，PCEI-E X8558 Pro就用AltoBeam 8830 chipset，但搵唔到使用AltoBeam 8831 chipset的卡或USB型號。
