How to flash ROM:
1) Download LG mobile support tool

2) Install FlashTool  (R&D Test Tool)

3) Install LG drivers (can skip if you already installed)

4) Install LG mobile support tool
5) Power off your G pro, press Volume Up + Volume Dn keys and then plus-in the usb cable (enter to a download mode)
6) Extract FlashTool and run UpTestEX.exe
7) In R&D Test Tool window,
Select Type = 3GQCT (top left hand side)
PhoneMode = DIAG    (top right hand side)
Select kdz file = click to select your LG stock rom *.kdz
Click "Normal web upgrade test"  (bottom right hand side)
Then another window "read phone information" pop up, click "Upgrade Start" button
wait a few seconds, another window "Select Country & Language" pop up,
=> Country=Republic of Korea
=> Language=Korea
you can click ok to proceed (or select language = English or Chinese Simplified PRC)
7) All done and wait for finish

> Make sure you enable allow "untrusted sources" (Setting | General | Security) and enable usb "debugging mode" (Setting | General | Developer options)
> Install the LG usb drivers, connect the phone in LG software mode.
> Connect the phone to your PC via USB Cable.
> Run the root.bat from the attached archive.
> Follow the command prompt instructions

CWM Recovery: (need root access)
This app is help you to install CWM recovery

> click button 2nd-init Recovery
> click reboot recovery
> then you got it , you can make backup/restore as usual

How to load CWM recovery?
- power off your phone completely
- power on the phone as usual (long press power button)
- it will show up "LG" from the screen... wait
- it will show up "LG" from the screen again... wait
- then it will light up both two LED "back" & "option" buttons ===> get ready and be quick
- press the HOME button immedidately (need do it very quick after two LED button light up)
- that's it, you will load up the CMW recovery

Problem/Issue:

> SMS Limit
1. Find the file featureset.xml in system/etc and open in text editor (Need root access then use root explorer for example)
2. Change the following values
Find <item name="KREncodingScheme">true</item> change to <item name="KREncodingScheme">false</item>
Find <item name="max_user_data_bytes_ex">80</item> change to <item name="max_user_data_bytes_ex">160</item>
3. Save and close then reboot

> Display | Lockscreen doesn't allow to save and your clock
(as if your roaming outside of South Korea. Here's the fix for the the Optimus G Pro lockscreen bug.)

Download SQLite Editor APK, its required for this fix. (https://code.google.com/p/xdroid ... SQLite Editor-9.apk)

Step 1: Open / Run SQLite and open the below sql DB (com.android.providers.settings)
Step 2: Open the "secure" table
Step 3: Edit value to 1 (change it from 0 to 1)
Step 4: Reboot as usual

For K
Find line "roaming_dualclock" and click menu button then edit record.

For S
Find line "skt_roaming_dualclock" and click menu button then edit record.

> Remove KR apps
It invloves testing, don't remove everything in KR text, some normal app will depends on these KR apps
Download SystemApp Remover from Google Play (please make sure make backup)

Factory Reset
When it is off, press Power key +Volume down key => follow the instruction from the screen (i.e. press power again to confirm)

Re-boot in safe mode
When it is on, long press power key, it will pop up to ask whether to re-start or power off , etc
then long press the power off option from the screen... it will asking whether to reboot in safe mode ? (which is reboot and disable all third party apps you have installed)
