【被退回 😂】外媒報導，近日 Linux 之父 Linus Torvalds 在開發社群公然指責 Google Android 的 RISC-V 團隊負責人 Palmer Dabbelt。原來該 RISC-V 程式碼應在上週五提交，並納入 Linux 6.17 內核，但對方不但未能在限期前準時提交，更嚴重的是所提交的程式碼被 Linus Torvalds 批評為「垃圾」。

 

Linus Torvalds 素來以火爆脾氣聞名，而這次的批評對象正是 Google Android 負責 RISC-V 的 Palmer Dabbelt。原本團隊需在上週五提交 RISC-V 程式碼以納入 Linux 6.17 內核，但不僅遲交，程式碼的品質亦非常糟糕。

 

Linus Torvalds 在 Linux 開發社群中直接回覆 Palmer Dabbelt︰

 

「No. This is garbage and it came in too late. I asked for early pull requests because I'm traveling, and if you can't follow that rule, at least make the pull requests *good*.

 

This adds various garbage that isn't RISC-V specific to generic header files.

 

And by "garbage" I really mean it. This is stuff that nobody should ever send me, never mind late in a merge window.

 

不行，這完全是垃圾，而且還來得太晚了。我之前就要求提前提交 pull request，因為我要旅行中。如果你不能遵守這個規則，至少也要保證提交的 pull request 是好的。

 

這次的提交在通用頭文件裡加入了各種完全與 RISC-V 無關的垃圾。

 

而且我說的「垃圾」是真的垃圾。這些東西不應該有人寄給我，更不要說是在合併窗口的最後期限之後寄來的。」

 

Linus Torvalds 其後更舉例指出 RISC-V 程式碼中的錯誤，並警告當新提交的 RISC-V 功能程式碼包含不良內容時，這些程式碼「正在讓世界變得更糟」。他嚴正聲明：「不能再提交延遲的拉取請求，也不要再在 RISC-V 樹之外提交垃圾代碼。」

 

最終，Google Android 的 RISC-V 團隊負責人 Palmer Dabbelt 承諾，未來將嚴格遵守提交時限，並確保提交的程式碼完全符合規範，期望在 Linux 6.18 版本中能獲得一個機會。
